앗 시리즈 역사 편이 영문판으로 도착했다. 총 20권으로, 평소에 보던 번역본보다 두께가 더 얇기 때문에 더 편하게 볼 수 있었던 것 같다. 우리가 몰랐던 끔찍한 역사의 세계에서, 가장 먼저 누가 생각해도 끔찍한 삶을 살았던 야만인의 세계로 입문한다. 

There will be some people who wants to go back to stone age, but can they endure the life without computers, video games, TVs, comic books and a well-done steak? They won't, I sure that. Stone age is really a age only composed with stones. Yes, they even didn't know how to use the stones. They sent really long times to invent a axe with stones. It is compared with modern ages. The inventors invent marverous things really fast. 

There were endeavors of archeologists to find out trues about the barbarians. There are many species that are similar to us, Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Lucy, who we call that the oldest ancestor that we found is the Australopithecus, of Africa. 

It was bad for several animals that human made in Earth. Now they are not afraid of gods, who have great power, and they use animals as their tools or expendables. Maybe we can call it, 'disaster' with the start of Stone age. 

mom- 어제 밤에 며칠 전에 주문했던 이 책 시리즈가 도착했는데요.  책상위에 올려져 있는 것을 보고 바로 살펴보더군요. 사줄까? 물어볼 때 시큰둥하더니,  독서실에서 새벽1시 30분에 집에 와서, 제가 보고 있던 영화 같이 보다가 새벽3시에 잠자리에 들었는데, 이 책 한 권 읽고 잤다는;;;  재미있는 책 시리즈는 정말 언제나 아이와 엄마를 모두 행복하게 해 주는 듯 합니다.  역사편은 번역본으로도 집에 없었던지라 한동안 즐거운 원서 시간을 갖게 될 듯 합니다.

호빗. 반지의 제왕 연작 시리즈 중 중간 쯤에 해당하는 책. J. R. R. Tolkien이 워낙 방대한 양의 책을 쓰다 보니, 그리고 이 책이 너무나 잘 쓰여지고 유명하다 보니 책 속에서 등장하는 캐릭터들이 다양하게 패러디되어 이제는 익숙하기까지 하다. 모든 판타지 소설들의 아버지 격인 반지의 제왕. 그 후속격인 호빗은, 반지의 제왕에 등장했던 난쟁이 영웅, 호빗들의 과거를 설명해준다. 

Review 1 - 106 

Hobbits are small people. You can imagine dwarves, but they are quite different to dwarves. They are smaller than them, and have no beard. They have curly soft hair, and they have hair on their foot. These hobbits are sometimes brave. 

This is the story about how Bilbo got the ring and gave it to Gandalf. Bilbo and several hobbits and Gandalf went to an advanture. It was not an advanture to find the ring. They just went to enjoy themselves. Well, the reason why they have ring is just by their luck.

Hobbits and dwarves went to a trip with the wizard, Gandalf. But unfortunately, Bilbo met goblins and he caught by them. He could killed by them in their castle, but he could escape from their castle. However, they had no food, no phonies to ride so they had to get some help from someone. 

They met Beorn, who is friendly with Gandalf's cousin. So Gandalf and the Mr.Baggins, Bilbo and several dwarves could have some rest. When they left there, they scattered with Gandalf and the dwarves had to cross the river. 

Hobbit and small dwarves' travel will keep for long time. I would expect more interesting things from them.

The game between six people

오랜만에 영어 원서로 재미있는 판타지 소설을 읽었다. 이집트 게임. 6명의 사람과 함께 시작한 이 놀이가, 점점 현실화되어서 사람들을 엄습하는 게임. 마치 쥬만지와 같은 영화를 보는 듯한 기분을 느끼게 한 책이었고, 멋진 긴박감을 가져다 주었다. 

There were six people and a old store sold a lot of egyptian ancient relics. They were really old. There was a girl who wanted to live by the store. The girl, April, Marshall, Elizabeth, Caroline, Ken and Toby joined that game. Yes, it was a mysterious game advanced by the egypt store. 

They met several people lived in Egypt. They went back to the Egypt, and had to solve their puzzles. It was made by the oracles and several missions. Maybe they took a special trip to Egypt. 

I thought they were maybe lucky. They were reluctant to do this, but it is really hard to suffer the culture of other countries with no money is not so easy. Next time, they would go to another trip. I heard it was a trip to the culture of Gypsy. 

The oracle leaded the children to special world. Maybe it was a story mixed by several mythology. And now I knew why this book has got the Newbery honor. I also want to take to trip like them. 

교수의 버려진 가게에서 일어난 멋진 모험. 덕분에 재미있는 모험을 즐길 수가 있었다. 다음 책도 읽을 수 있기를 바라며, 집시들과는 어떤 일들을 겪을지 기대된다.

The colorful rainbow is the best thing that we can see by the light. However, we can also make it by small things. If we use prism, than any lights can make into the seven colors. But it is hard to see the real rainbow in the sky. 

The light is really fast. It is more over than turning 7 times the Earth per a second. We know that we are unable to follow the light, but light is still slow in the space. They have to go for several years to go to another planets. 

The light also trick us. All the thing you watch is made from the light. The light can show us the scene of others. But the movement is different when they go through the liquid or the solid. So when we get into the water, than we can see a lot of funny things by your two eyes. 

It was a colorful advantures with Ms. Friz. Maybe I can have another advantures with her somedays.

산호초섬으로 떠난 여행

The corals are really weird. It is made of calcim carbonate. Yes, a lot of shapes and kinds of corals were made in the ocean, and we can identify them by their shape. There are bubble corals, branch corals, brain corals... And also the corals with the shape we imagine which are really beautiful. 

The corals are important for the nature in the ocean. They can be the shelter of small fishes. The fish hides their eggs and small children in there all they hide there from the predators. 

But now, the corals are disappearing. The reason is the pollution by people. We sure that they would not make beautiful colors anymore. If we want to enjoy the scene of great ocean, than we should try harder not to give harm.
