이번에는 빤쓰맨의 이야기가 아니어서 무척 아쉽다. 하지만 이번에는 결코 빤쓰맨 만화를 그리지 말라는 교장선생님의 명령으로 인해 그 대신에 새로운 영웅을 탄생시킨 조지와 해롤드의 이야기이다.

뒤쪽 내용에서는 이 책의 2편이 나올거라 했건만, 막상 뒤져보니 이 책의 출판년도만 2003년도이고 그 뒷편은 아예 없다는 것을 깨닫고 울 뻔했다. 이대로 다브 필키의 시리즈는 끝이란 말인가? 서러움을 내뱉는 끝에, 그래도 이번 책은 만화만이 대부분을 차지하고 있어 무척이나 재미있을 것만 같은 예감이 들었다.

Do you know Billy? Billy is the Super Diaper Baby! Once upon a time, there was a man and wife who had a baby. And a cowboy caught Captain Underpants, and he stole his power. He gave his dog the power, and he ran away from police. When the cowboy pass the hospital, the doctor dropped Billy and Billy dropped into the power. He drank it, and he already had a super power! 

The cowboy got into the prison, but he escaped. He wanted to have power, but he became a poo-poo. He drove Robo-Ant 2000 to destroy the village, but the Super Diaper Baby saw that! He broke the robot, and he was a real hero! 

I am afraid that I can't see the next stories. I hope Captain Underpants will alive. Dav Pilkey, my own dream is read your new comic book!

The love of the vampire and Human

12월에 개봉한 트와일라잇을 영화관에서 본 이후로, 트와일라잇 시리즈에 빠지신 어머니께서 나에게 적극 추천해주신 책.(물론 어머니는 한글로 읽으셨다.) 하지만 원서를 먼저 읽어보라는 어머니의 무조건적인 설득으로 인해 이 책을 읽게 되었다. 조건은 이 책을 다 읽는다면 내가 좋아하는 초코 머핀을 먹을 수 있는 것. 그로 인해 나는 이 책을 빨리 읽기 위해 무척 노력했으나, 다 읽기까지는 일주일이라는 긴 시간이 걸렸다. 그렇지만 3분의 2가 지난 후반부터는 너무 재미있어서 금방 읽어내버렸다.

이 세상에는 수많은 미스터리가 존재한다. 인간의 게놈 지도는 99%가 완성되었으나 그 1%의 비밀이 무엇인지 모르며, 온갖 UFO의 사진들은 사실이 입증되지 않았다. 그리고 뱀파이어? 그건 잘 모르겠다. 보름달이 뜨면 살인 사건의 수가 더 많아진다는 늑대인간의 관한 자료도 있으나 흡혈귀에 관한 이야기는 한번도 들어보지 못했다. 물론 어떤 병에 걸리면 송곳니가 길어지고, 햇빛과 양파 냄새를 싫어하며 안색이 창백해진다는 그런 병도 있으며 실제로 어두운 성에 살고 있다고 한다. 그런 사람에 의해 흡혈귀 전설이 더욱 실제적에 가까워지기도 했는데, 실체는 아무도 모른다. 

(mom 원서 표지가  눈에 더 선명하게 들어온다.  아무래도 영화 매력의 잔상인지.... 분명 번역본 일러스트는 아름답기는 한데...  한 가지 투덜거렸던 것은 번역본 글씨가 무지 큼직한데다 띄워스기줄은 한강처럼 보이고...낭비다 생각했다. 인쇄종이는 좋은 것을 써서 편히 읽는 방법인 침대에 누워서 보기에는 엄청난 무게였던 것.  원서와 비교하다 보니 같은 장에 나와 있는 것을 확인하고서야~ 이래서 그랬군 하고 혼자 납득하기....)   

If there is vampire in the world? Well, I think they will quiet. If people know about them, people will catch them and they will kill vampires or make them obey human. And people will use them like weapons! What a terrible life!

People hate vampires, but someone love vampires. Even Bella wanted to be a vampire like Edward. Oh, sorry. I forgot that introduce the story. Bella is a beautiful girl. But her parents divorced, so Bella moved to Folks. She met the Cullen family, by Edward Cullen. Well, there is Edward Cullen, Emmett Cullen, Alice Cullen, Jasper Hale and Rosalie Hale. They are  all vampires!

Bella and Edward are beautiful and handsome! They are all have white skin. Maybe It says Bella can be a vampire, to! I guess the end of the story will be Edward bite Bella and make her vampire, to! How great it is?

Jacob told to Bella a scary story. That is about Cold Ones. It means vampire, and Carlisle, the Cullens' father was the general of the cold one. So conclusion is that. Cold one have youth life, and they are strong. They don't sleep, they only eat blood. But Cullens' only eat animal's blood. 

My mom became a disabled person for this series. It means this books are wonderful! My mom love books, and now she always reading the stories. I love this books, too. Sometimes I can discover the hard word in the English books, but if I read the Korean Books, It will have lots of fun.  

My plan is read the next story, 'New moon' In English. And then I'm going to check it by Korean books! Isn't it a great idea? Yes, I can learn more English, too. However it is just difficult to me. My wish is read the next story, New moon, Eclipse and Breaking dawn. In this story, James was the problem. Maybe the next story, we can meet a new fantasy! 

(이렇게....   아이가 신나하며 2권을 끝내고 3권을 읽고자 했는데, 이런~  xdkxxx..... 서점들마다 품절이랜다.  미리 구매할껄~ 쥔장~~ ㅠㅠ 구입시기 늘 때를 딱딱 하나 못 맞추넹~   아이 친구 고3 누나가 이 책 사서 가지고 있어 빌려달라고 했는데,  와서 보던가 대여는 또 안된다고 했다능데~~~  아, 미리 3권을 사 두지 못했음을 땅을 쳤다)

사람마다 좋아하는 색깔은 다르다. 하지만 어떤 색깔을 거의 매니아적으로 좋아하고, 열광하는 사람이 있다. 왕 Percy도 그런 사람 아닐까? 그가 좋아하는 색은 푸른 하늘을 나타내는 하늘색도 아닌, 순수하고 깨끗한 흰색도 아닌, 그렇다고 해서 푸르른 숲을 나타내는 초록색도 아닌 분홍색이다. 왜 하필 분홍색일까? 물론 분홍색을 좋아한다고 해서 이상한 것은 아니다. 단지 그는 왕이라는 이름으로, 자기가 좋아하는 분홍색을 시시때때로 보기 위해 세상의 모든 것들을 분홍색으로 칠하려 노력한다. 하지만 그에게도 안 되는 일은 있다. 흘러나는 개천은 아무리 분홍색 물감을 풀어도 그 색은 금방 흩어지고 만다. 또 하늘 높은 곳에 떠있는 구름과 해는 변하지 않는다.

In the backpage, the rabiit say that King Percy is silly. Yes, he is silly. He couldn't understand people. So the wise man, Eric solved he problem. Percy just want to see the pink world. Only pink! He thought all day long... At last, he had a really good idea!

He made a pair of glasses. It's not usual glasses. It is pink glasses! When Percy weared, he could see the pink cloud, pink sun, pink everything... He was happy! And the people was happy, to!

At first time, I couldn't think like that good idea. Who could think that? My dream is have a wise like Eric. Be a wise man is a great thing.

아주 옛날에 읽었던 이야기, 어부와 그의 아내. 그 때에는 이야기가 이토록 생생하게 들려오지 않았는데, 영어로 읽어보니 어부의 아내의 욕심이 얼마나 엄청난지를 실로 느낄 수 있었다.

I will tell you how mucc fisherman's wife is greedy. First, she wanted a cottage. Than she wanted a big house, than she wanted a castle, than she wanted the palace and she wanted to be a queen! At last, she wanted to have all of the world. But at last the magic fish became angry, so he returned everything.

I think fisherman know the real happy. People don't know what is the happiest thing. Like fisherman's wife. When she returned, she knew that when she was really poor, she was the happiest woman at her daily loutins.

Don't be greedy. Greedy person is the most silly person. Noone like the person. Do you know Screwzi? He was a real notorious miser. People even hate him! If you want to be a happy person, you should be polite, honest and kind.

(y서점에서 외서 추천 이벤트를 할 시 작성해서 받은 5권의 선물 책 중에 한 권.  최근 구입한 이동식 책꽂이를 컴퓨터 옆에 두고, 외서 챕터북이나 그림책을 쉽게 뽑아 읽게 해 두었더니, 밤마다 가볍게 한 두 권씩 아이가 읽고 있어 본전 톡톡히 뽑고 있다고 혼자서 무쟈게 키득거리고 있는 엄마입니다~)

이번편은 그간 보아왔던 빤쓰맨 시리즈 중에서도 최고로 재미있었던 것 같다. 이번에는 바로 리블 선생님이 우리의 빤쓰맨의 적이 되었다. 그리고 조지와 해롤드가 그린 만화대로 행동하는 빤쓰맨은, 그 덕분에 엄청난 힘과 비행 능력을 가지고 있다. 자, 과연 이번 편에서는 빤쓰맨에게 무슨 마법적인 사건이 일어날까?

Can you believe that all of the start from comic book? It's not sure, but I believe it. Because the time that when I started to be like books, I read lots of comic books! It is the start of it. Maybe Dav Pilkey also like comic book, isn't he?

Ms.Ribble. She was a boring, not fun, and scary teacher. All of students don't like her. And than George and Harold tricked her, than she become... a terrible monster! She made two big robots look like George and Harold, amd she make it to attack the village. What can Captain Underpants do? He is in prison. But comic book give him the power!

In George and Harold's comic book, you can see Captain Underpants' growth period. In Underpant planet, there are underwear people who live there. The king of Underpant planet knew that alien going to attack the planet, so he should used the magic amulet. But he couldn't. When he droped the magic amulet, his own son ate that!

They didn't have any mathod. So they dicided to save his son, so they send their son to the earth. A man and woman found him, and named him 'Captain.' When he grow up, he knew that he was not same as other people. One night he had an weird dream. His other parents appeared, and told him to save the world.

Wow! Captain Underpants' advanture always make me crazy! It is so funny. I couldn't see the Korean books, but now I am already happy. I hope Dav Pilkey will write more about Captain Underpants! Maybe you want, to! Aren't you?
