1권을 다 읽고, 이제 금방 배달되었던 2권을 용감하게 읽기 시작했다. 그런데 왜 하나같이 표지들은 무서운 빨간색을 가지고 있을까? 1권은 손에 사과를 든 모습이지만, 2권은 깃털을 빨갛게 적신 피를 나타내고 있다. 어쩌면 뉴 문은 에드워드와 벨라의 위험을 나타내는 이야기이지 않을까?
1편에서는 에드워드와 그의 가족이 벨라를 죽이려던 제임스를 갈기갈기 찢어 죽이는 그런 대단하고 용감한 면모를 보였으나, 이번에는 그렇지 못하다. 에드워드가 말하길, 벨라는 주변의 적을 자석처럼 끌어당기는 힘이 있다고 했다. 왜 그런지는 나도 모른다. 단지 그녀의 향에 이끌리는 자가 많다는 것 뿐만을 알고 있다.
아직도 이 책의 매력속에 내가 빠져들지 못했다는 것을 아신 어머니는 나에게 무척 파격적인 조건을 거셨다. 이 책을 정해진 기일 안에 다 읽는다면 외식을 가겠다! 나는 미친듯이 읽으려 노력했으나 처음에는 별로 진전이 없었다. 하지만 제이콥이 이상한 현상을 보일 때부터 본격적으로 빠지기 시작했고, 결국 몇시간만에 이 책을 전부 끝마칠 수가 있었다. 이를 통해 나는 트와일라잇 시리즈의 매력에 본격적으로 빠져들기 시작했다.
(양장본이 아님에도 제본이 멋지다고 생각된다)
I can tell you about the new monster. You know, this books are about vampires, but not only vampire. Wolf's descendants call vampires, "Cold ones" because they have really cold skin. Jacob is Bella's best friend, but he is the wolf's descendants. Carlisle was one of the vampire who started to eat animal's blood. They were enemies, but they be allied.
I told you that Jacob was the descendants of wolf. Yes, he is a monster, too. He can change into a wolf. Did you heard about werewolf? A man who transformation into a were-wolf when full moon.
This story was the most interesting story. Bella tried to die, but Jacob saved her. She met Alice Cullen and they went to Italy to search for Edward. Edward thought she was already dead. When they met, the other danger waiting for them.
You know, not only Cullens are vampires. In Italy, there was the old, noble Italy vampires waiting for them. They were too many, but only Edward and Alice can stop them. Young vampire can't kill old vampire. Because they have stronger skill, ate more blood...
This series make me mad. What a wonderful story! The #1 New York Times Bestseller is not the common tag. I'm really waiting for the next movie. My mother said that Edward is really handsome.
I read the first part of Eclipse. Wow, I want to read Eclipse, too. I'm going to borrow it by my friend.
(번역본과 원서 비교하며 읽기도 좋은 방법~ 따로 통째로 읽기도 하지만, 이렇게 읽고 난 뒤 비교하며 읽어도 아하~ 하는 구문을 꽤 재미있게 만날 수 있다)
