 Interesting illusion art by Donald Rust.
Donald Rust was born in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1932. He began drawing and painting at a very early age and has never had the desire to be anything but a serious artist. His early work was directly influenced by his grandfather, Emil Rust, Gil Elvgren, Bob Toombs, and Norman Rockwell. However, he feels there has been no one single influence in his wildlife art and insists that all wildlife artists have affected his style.
For many years, Rusty's paintings concentrated on circus and portrait subjects; but recently, wildlife subjects have intrigued him more and more.

Rust's paintings hang in the Ringling Museum of the Circus, Sarasota, Florida, the Norman Rockwell Museum, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C.

Rusty's ability to capture nature lies between fantasy and reality. Realism is his style, but he wants to take the collector's imagination one step further. He is an artist sensitive to nature and its surroundings. The beauty of his artistic documentation is distinctly his own. Rusty takes us not just to a creative visual, but to a place and a story.

TWO LEOPARDS BATTLE FOR PYTHON

 

  1. A python became the focus of an epic tug-of-war between two leopards. The six-and-a-half-foot (2m) long African rock python became the unwilling "rope" in the game, after being caught by a female leopard in the long grass. But as she dragged it, still wriggling, along behind her, she was ambushed by her son who wanted to land the kill for himself. The young male snatched the end of the enormous snake in his powerful jaws, and tried to tug it away from his mother.

2. The two big cats fought ferociously over their prey for half an hour, in front of stunned guests at the MalaMala game reserve, South Africa. The brutal battle was only ended when the female leopard gave up, retreating to a tree while her son tucked in to his prize. The scene was caught on camera by American photographer Josh Scheinert, who was staying at the MalaMala reserve.

두번째 사진 진짜라면 정말 좋았을텐데... 구름 말(?)ㅎㅎㅎ

관심책들인데...

안타깝게도 품절 ㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠ 더 빨리 알았더라면 구매했을텐데... 품절은 되었지만 모두 중고샵에서 판매한다는 것. 전에 한국에 나갔을 때 중고샵을 이용하려고 했었는데 결제 때문에 이용을 못했다. 품절된 책들을 중고샵에서 구매 해 달라고 부탁할 친구라도 있으면 좋을텐데... 올해 7월에 나가서 돈을 주면 되는데... 그런데 아무리 생각해도 부탁 들어 줄 친구가 한명도 없다.ㅠ_ㅠ 모두가 나한테 상처만 준 친구들... 난 왜 이리 친구복이 없는걸까...ㅠㅠ  

시대물 로설은 너무 빨리 품절이 된다. 나중에 구매해야지 미루고 있으면 모두 다 품절이다.ㅠㅠ  

 

 

모두 관심책! 하지만 품절이 된 책들...ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 이곳에서도 중고샵을 이용할 수 있도록 해 주면 정말 좋을텐데...
