■ 작품 소개

정글북(The Jungle Book)은 러디어드 키플링어 지은 소설입니다. 배경은 인도이며 모글리라는 늑대 소년이 역경을 이겨내어 결국 인간 마을로 되돌아간다는 내용의 작품입니다. 우리가 알고 있는 모글리 내용은 모글리의 형제들, 카아의 사냥, 호랑이! 호랑이! 라는 세 작품의 내용입니다. 그 외에 하얀 바다표범, 리키티비타비, 코끼리들의 투마이, 여왕 폐하의 신하들 등의 내용이 담겨 있는데 저 네 이야기는 우리에게 거의 알려지자 않았습니다.
