<<셜록 홈즈의 회상록>>은 1894년에 출판된 단편 소설집입니다. 경주마 실버 블레이즈(The Adventure of Silver Blaze)는 인기 경주마 실버 블레이즈가 실종되고 조교사가 살해되는 사건을 해결합니다. 노란 얼굴(The Adventure of the Yellow Face)은 창문에 나타나는 정체를 알 수 없는 노란 얼굴에 관한 이야기입니다. 증권회사 직원(The Adventure of the Stock-Brocker‘s Clerk)은 철물회사로 전직한 증권맨이 겪는 수상쩍은 일들에 관한 이야기입니다. 글로리아 스콧호(The Adventure of the Gloria Scott)는 홈즈의 친구 빅터가 아버지의 유품에서 ‘글로리아 스콧 호‘의 항해일지를 발견하고 홈즈를 초청하면서 시작됩니다. 이밖에도 셜록 홈즈의 흥미진진한 이야기들이 담겨 있습니다.

I have tired to expose to the view of the public more distinctly than is commonly done, one of the characters of the recent past. He is one of the representatives of a generation still living. In the fragment, entitled "Underground," this person introduces himself and his views, and as it were, tries to explain the causes owing to which he has made his appearance and was bound to make his appearance in our midst.
