근초고왕이란 초고왕 2세라는 의미. 왜 학교에서 못 배웠을까? 소설가 최인호는 도미와 아량의 이야기를 개루왕 때가 아니고 근개루(개루와 비슷하다는 뜻)라고도 불리는 개로왕 재위 455~475년 때로 추정해서 「몽유도원도」를 썼다. 개로왕은 방탕한 생활을 하다가 고구려의 침공으로 참수를 당한 왕이다.
개로왕은 일명 근개루라고도 한다.
