14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice sayingto me in Aramaic, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?

Paul speaks in detail about his conversion in Damascus. He describes Jesusspeaking to him from a bright light from heaven.  - P129

Jesus told Paul he was tobe appointed as a servant and witness to the Jews and Gentiles so that theymay receive forgiveness of sins and be sanctified. Paul says that it is becauseof this message that he is standing on trial. - P129
